Lighterpix has no upload endpoint, no accounts and no tracking pixels. Here is exactly what that means.
Your images stay yours
There is no server that receives images. Files are read from your disk into the tab, decoded, re-encoded and offered back as a download. Closing the tab discards everything.
What is stored on your device
A service worker cache holds the app shell and the encoders so it works offline, and a small IndexedDB entry remembers whether you have used the app. Both live in your browser and can be cleared at any time from the site settings.
No advertising, no profiling
There are no third-party scripts, no tracking pixels and no advertising identifiers. Requests go to the domain that serves the app and nowhere else.
Hosting
The site is served as static files by Cloudflare, which processes standard request metadata such as IP address and user agent to deliver the pages, as any web host does.
