Lighterpix is built on the Apache-2.0 licensed Squoosh project and a set of permissively licensed image codecs. Here is the attribution.
Application code
Released under the Apache License, Version 2.0. This project is a derivative work of Squoosh (Copyright 2020 Google Inc., Apache-2.0); the original copyright headers are retained in the source files and the attribution is recorded in NOTICE.
Encoders
MozJPEG and libjpeg-turbo (BSD), libwebp (BSD-3-Clause), libavif and libaom (BSD-2-Clause / AOM), libjxl (BSD-3-Clause), OxiPNG (MIT), the image crate (MIT) for resampling, hqx (Apache-2.0). The full table, including the GPL-licensed palette quantiser, is in THIRD-PARTY.md.
Trademarks
Google, the Squoosh name and the Squoosh logo are not used by this project, and the licence grants no trademark rights. The Lighterpix name and logo belong to this project.
